” The snow is snowing and the wind it is blowing
But I can weather the storm
What do I care how much it may storm
I’ve got my love to keep me warm… “
… So sang Ella Fitzgerald, one of, if not the most revered female jazz songstress of the 40s, 50s, 60s – of all time. Click to listen to her rendition: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ldshQfzs6Jw
Today, we have had a weather phenomenon: SNOW! I actually don’t recall when we last had any appreciable snowfall …”snowmaggedon” in 2010 ? 2016? I must admit that the 2016 snow event totally left my memory…

My niece shared this photo of her pooch, Hazel, totally enjoying a romp in the snow – at about the time it first started, earlier this day. Hazel had just had a bath and was outside for a few minutes. “Look! Snow! I think I’ll flounder around in it for a few minutes!” And she did! Ah…simply a moment!

Hope you’re enjoying the day – and SNOW too, if it fell your way.
Cheers~
Rumor has it that we might get snow later this week. It is a quiet week for me so that won’t mess up my plans. Dogs in the snow are so fun!

I love the sheer abandon of Hazel in the snow. Oh! to remember to experience life that way. We have lots to learn from our dogs and cats. My cat O”Malley would not enjoy the snow like Hazel but he would love watching it fall. Not much snow for us. I live in southern Arizona.

I thoroughly enjoyed a break with Ella & Hazel, thanks for the snow-play-sing theme to my day. We plan to cover plants before tonight for our first possible frost. Lots of rain today; not Gracie approved weather, LOL. Cheers & Vugs!

Lucy’s never seen snow (thankfully, the winter weather they warned of yesterday did not happen) … I hope she loves it as much as Hazel does!

Hazel is thoroughly enjoying the snow. I rather like snow, especially since I’m retired and don’t have to be out driving around in it. Enjoy your inside cozy days.
