I sit here,
smelling the gift of daffodils from Michelle’s yard
holding a hot mug of tea in my hands …
looking out at the view I see most mornings, if not all when I’m home…
thinking as I look, “Spring! has indeed arrived “…
hearing the steady tick, tick, tick of the clock …
recalling the time spent yesterday FriendStitching, the good food and camaraderie …
holding tight in my heart the gift of our friendship…
smelling the gift of daffodils …
And here I am, looking out my window at freshly fallen snow, about 2″ covering everything right now, but probably melting by mid-day. (One would hope.) Having come home from the gym, I’m enjoying my coffee, reading blogs, and thinking about what items on my to-do list I should tackle today.

A chilly start for us today, that’s for sure! 20’s on my patio this a.m.!! But, our first daffodil has bloomed, so there is hope. FriendStitching is such a great term!

What a lovely start to your week! Those daffodils are lovely. I’ll enjoy yours from here . . . because it’s gonna be awhile before mine are blooming! XO

Mother Nature played a April Fool’s Day joke on us – a dusting of snow and bitterly cold temps. But, there was sun!
