“Self-care is a deliberate choice to gift yourself with people, places, things, events, and opportunities that recharge our personal battery and promote whole health — body, mind, and spirit.” ~ Pass It On
Today, this morning, for a brief moment, I saw the birds flocking towards the sunrise …they fly so fast that I can’t train my camera eye to catch before they are out of its view…but, that’s OK, I tell myself : the image is indelibly imprinted in my mind. I watch for Canadian Geese – so far, I’ve seen none.

Life is slowly adjusting to the new normal – a term we hear and say too often. This morning, the temps dropped low enough to kick in both the furnace and the heat pump – both are working on all cylinders. Thankfully. Especially after replacing the A/C-HeatPump this summer at ruinous costs. We’re set for winter and it appears, based on the ten-day forecast that we may not have a brief reprise of summer weather/temps before November.
This week’s calendar is pretty clear – save for my Daily Pages 12 N Zoom session, still very much a delightful break in the day. More Zoom sessions scattered throughout the week. And as I look at the clock, I think I’d best get a move on for my quilting group’s meeting in just an hour – @ 10 am.
Have a great day and week!
Cheers~
I love the hum of the furnace for fall. We are going to have some warmer weather and hopefully it will dip down once more!!

That is a lovely sky photo and I’m glad you’ve got the ability to imprint images in your mind!

What a beautiful morning sky! (I’ve seen plenty of geese lately so maybe you’ll see some soon?) Enjoy your week and the Zoom calls. I have my knitting group this afternoon and it’s always fun to see what everyone is up to (I’m still knitting the swatch I started yesterday).

So pleased that you have got your winter heating sorted – being cold is a miserable experience. Sorry to read about the cost, though :(. You sound creatively content, with nice things to look forward to, and plenty of space to do them in. Hoping it’s a lovely week and that you and Norman are both well.

I am jealous of your beautiful morning sky! It’s a gloomy, rainy day here, making for a dark start to the day, but judging from the noises I am hearing outside, the birds are enjoying it (and we certainly need the rain). I hope you get a bit of sunshine to help you warm up a bit as the day goes on!

What a beautiful morning sky, such lovely soft gentle colours. We have a wood burning stove in our house, it is not our only heating but it does a good job of heating the house. We have been lighting it every evening for a few weeks now, it is lovely to sit by in on a cold dark evening.

We’ve needed the furnace quite a bit so far this fall — lots of very chilly days and frost. I’m always so grateful for a furnace that hums in that pleasing kind of way! Enjoy your week, Honoré!
