…are the pause before the week begins…
Have as beautiful a day!
Cheers~
PS. I took this photo last week at the Franciscan Monastery; this view of hydrangea and other plants leads down to the grotto sanctuary…
A reminder: Tomorrow, June 30 is one little word linkup day here on the blog.
I will never get tired of seeing all the color variation in hydrangeas. We’ve tried to make the soil around ours acidic so that we have mostly blue flowers, but we still get some pink. And there’s a house a few blocks away that get blooms that are almost red!

I love all the blossom colors shown here on just a few hydrangea bushes! I just got back from a very hot and sweaty walk, but admiring the many bloom-laden hydrangeas around the neighborhood made it worthwhile.

I love hydrangea. One of my favorite summer flowers.

Beautiful hydrangeas! They are among my favorites. For the first time in quite a few years, I have lots of buds on the hydrangea by our patio. The six Matt planted a few years ago in the front bloom all summer and into the fall. Given the cold spring, they are way behind this year!
