7:35 am: An ambulance siren breaks the quiet of on-its-way-to-being another H-O-T one; I sigh-deeply-and think: now would the best time to go for a walk – it’s only 80. Only 80! But, I don’t have the energy to be up and at ’em…need my tea and besides, in just an hour – at 8:30 am – is the last Mindful Monday Zoom session. And then at noon, another Z: Daily Pages and tonight, a 3rd Z: a gathering of scrapbooker – from around the world – for a “crop,” -we’re all working on our individual projects, share tales, information, answer the occasional how-to question. I can say, without a hesitation, I’m on Zoom a lot – you think? – and I wonder how we might have coped with Covid-19 without Zoom and similar programs. Were these technological advances created, designed ’cause another pandemic was due? Know doubt Dr. Spock would know the answer to that question [smile].
8:05 am: Quiet resumes… just the ambient house sounds one hears and the occasional car driving by. I take another sip of tea and let its warmth and taste linger a bit before I swallow, warming my insides as it travels to my tummy. I smile as I type these words and realize that slowly I am developing qwerty skills – I hasten to add that auto-fill/correct also helps a bit, too.
I glance at the calendar and note that tomorrow is the monthly share/linkup about our 2020 One Little Word experience – here on this blog. I look forward to reading yours. And if you are a new reader to this blog, have chosen a word and wish to join in, welcome!
8:20 am: Now I must get ready for MindfulMonday! Have a great day!
Cheers~
I journaled from my berth in the boat this morning and I think I’m on to a new Habit! Quiet, cozy, cool, and my own little view of the sky and treetops through the hatch! 😉 Happy Monday!
PS – gorgeous flowers, they lift my heart!

Oh my – 80 degrees so early – ugh! You are on Zoom a lot. Is it fun? I feel my introvert side come out when I think about it. Enjoy and drink a lot of water!

These summer days when it’s already hot early in the morning are not my favorite, though I mind them less now that I don’t have to walk to work in them! I hope you get some relief from the heat soon. I’m looking forward to my walk later today, when the humidity is supposed to be much lower.

I journal right when I wake up and sip my coffee in the dark. It is heavenly!! I live in the country and I rarely hear sirens…
